Dear students,

The lecturers of the UdeM voted a week ago for a strike. The Union charged and lecturers UdeM (SCCCUM) has announced its intention to exercise its right to strike for half a day, Monday, February 15, between 13 am and 17 pm

The strike will result in the cancellation of courses given by lecturers, responsible for the clinical (dentistry, optometry), responsible for the practical training (layout), internship supervisors, and leaders, coaches voice and harpsichord ( music). Unless otherwise specified by your unit tests planned for Monday afternoon will be deferred, but you must submit your work to the secretariat of your unit as scheduled in the syllabus.

All courses taught by regular professors and other faculty members were held as scheduled. Other University activities continue as usual. The libraries will be open, CEPSUM and food services, and all services remain accessible to users, with the exception of the Clinic’s vision, the Law Clinic of the Clinical Psychology and Dentists, to be partially or fully closed: please contact your unit to confirm your attendance at the clinic.

The University is now online a website Info strike that provides relevant information on the work stoppage. The site includes a directory of being canceled, which lets you know if your course is canceled or shortened as appropriate. For example, classes normally starting at 16 am will begin at 17 am and will end as scheduled at 19 pm
