My Whole New World

phew, just ended my last lesson of the week. it was really tiring, with French till 9.30pm last night and having to do research for my meeting today plus readings for lesson on top of preparing lunch. but it’s over already and now i can nua abit until sunday at least.

going Quebec City on Sat! our first short trip out of Montreal, am really excited. =D Quebec City’s 3 hrs bus ride from here. We’re following Concord Tour Agency and it only cost 22CAD (excluding admission fees and stuff)! still a good deal i think. =) Quebec’s having their winter carnival this weekend, can’t wait to see what it’s like.

School’s getting business with assignments, projects and endless readings. Not unlike SMU, but it gets harder to keep up when one is permanently in a holiday mood. Haha. oh wells, but we’re SMU students. and SMU students have PLENTY of experiences with not having enough time for sleeping. and after Adrace, crew term and what-not, i’m sure i’ll survive this. =D

Weather was pretty warm the past few weeks, with the highest being 8 degrees one day! and it even rained, first time i saw ‘proper’ rain since i reached. i’ve seen drizzle before, but never rain. and according to the locals it is really weird because it’s jan now and jan is supposed to be FULL of snow. but it snowed quite heavily ysd night and today and now i got to shovel snow when i get out of the house. =) even after 1 month, the sight of falling snow, snow covered cars and walkways never cease to amaze me! even thou admittedly, i wished it would stop snowing and become warmer on somedays. the feeling of kicking fresh snow on the ground and brushing them off the cars is amazing. still looking for a chance to build a snowman and make snow angels!
