went to make OPUS card today (it’s like their ezlink card here). got the shock of our lives when we reach McGill metro station where the SPEQ photo is located because the queue is FREAKING long! After 2 whole hours and $13.50, we finally got our cards. the picture is taken on the spot with webcam and looks damn cui. haha. oh wells, now we can buy monthly pass with is only 38.75CAD for unlimited metro and bus rides! it’s really cheap because one metro ticket (one way) cost 2.75CAD.
Then after which we went to meet the HEC exchange group for dinner at «Cage aux Sports» which is a place where they watch ice hockey games. Ice hockey is a BIG thing in Canada. Today was arranged seating, which was.. kinda awkward, and uncomfortable at first. but i guess it went okay.
Clubbing was next at Cafe Campus. it’s a famous place apparently among students there. I’m so sick of beer. Eeks. Their beer is 1CAD per cup before 11 i think. DAMN cheap. We drink beer every night! or at least the other people did. and my landlady and her family drinks wine every meal. I think if you don’t drink, you’re considered weird. Kian will love it here!
